Saint Nicholas of Bari first of all it will welcome you. It is a religious building in an exquisite late Gothic style, built in the distant sixteenth century. The single nave shows off immediately, embraced by the side chapels with a ceiling embroidered with ribbed and cross vaults. They will hold your attention for a long time which will then be kidnapped by the main altar dated 1767, with sumptuous furnishings and two precious Baroque altarpieces. There is also a tasty legend that tells of the crucifix in the church: this would have been donated by a citizen kidnapped during the Saracen raids and subsequently released. The workmanship is valuable and its dating is around the beginning of the 1600s.
The former town hall it is a few steps away from the church. It has recently undergone a heavy renovation which has altered its appearance, which, however, cannot be said of Petretto porch which turns out to be a little surprising, wandering with your nose in the air among the characteristic city alleys.
It was built at the end of the 19th century and appears as an arch crossed internally by a small corridor with balconies that connected two rich case towns.
